La Lucha (The Fight), 2007

Descripción: A docu-drama entirely shot in Cuba. The purpose was to tell the story of Cuban women who decided to sell their body to tourists in order to come out of poverty induced by the Government strict policies. Over 100 prostitutes were interviewed, then their testimonies were gathered into a final script and shot as a documentary with an actress. This short won several prizes around the world, the main ones were Miami 2007, Best Documentary, and San Francisco 2008, Grand Jury Silver Prize.
