My name is David Martin and I’m from St. Louis, Missouri, currently based in Houston, Texas.
I’ve always shared a love with photography and videography, but it wasn’t until my recent retirement from the United States Army in 2013 that I realized I could make a career out of it.
In 2014, I pursued my passion for film by attending The Art Institute of Houston. There I honed in on my skills as a shooter and advanced my working knowledge of a wide range of software systems and industry-standard equipment.
I have been freelancing for about 3 years as a photographer and videographer on special events, commercials, and corporate media during my time in school. These two combined experiences have given me the confidence and capability to go out and tackle any shoot.
Although I love being a filmmaker, my one true passion is cinematography. I love being behind the camera. Those magic moments when you pull off a great shot and everyone around is cheering are what I live for!
