My target as cinematographer is to be part of films that offer me a challenge and allow me to take charge of a responsible role, works that allow me to develop my knowledge and skills as DOP as well as expand my art through experience and continuous learning. I have a great deal of experience working mainly as Cinematographer but also as Focus Puller and other camerawoman roles.
I shot my first fiction feature as DOP, Dolorosa Gioia (Gonzalo López, 2017), between November and December of 2016. It is currently in postproduction and expecting to be premiered in theatres in late 2017.
In 2016 I did the cinematography for a short film titled En la Azotea (Damià Serra, 2016), which was selected in Berlinale 2016 and won the award for Best Spanish Short Film in the prestigious Valladolid's SEMINCI, it was also nominated for best short film in GOYA 2017 (Spain's academy awards) and GAUDI 2017 (Catalonia's academy awards); it is still in the film festival circuit and has been shown all around the world.
In between these two films, I made my debut on feature films, always as DOP, with the documentary Desde Que bailas (Beatriz Osorno and Alvaro Torrelli, 2016), nominated as Best Documentary in Malaga Film Festival, DOCS Barcelona, EDOC and FICC Cuenca among others; it is still in the film festival circuit.
I have also organized and conducted numerous workshops teaching the use of different cameras and formats such as Arri Alexa, Red EPIC, 35 mm, 16 mm and several others.
