Sobre mí

I am Luis Joan Mirabal Rodríguez, living in Dominican Republic and working as a Cinematographer since 2008. When I graduated from EICTV in 2011, in Havana, Cuba, got a year Bachelor Post-Degree on Media and Visual Arts at the University of Stuttgart, in Germany.
I have worked as a Camera Operator, Focus Puller, DIT trough mi life time in cinema since 2001; I am passionate about telling stories trough the camera always taking care of the composition and the frame in general, directly linked to color and light. I think that my achievements are always related to telling the story in the right way, or at least trying to. My goals will always going to be being behind the camera, operating, giving possibilities to the directors in a creative and respectful way.
