Based in London, UK. Rupert Critchley is a freelance director / director of photography and has been working in the film and television industry for over 9 years. Working hands on with multiple production companies on an array of projects from broadcast television, feature documentaries, TVC’s, branded content, short films and award winning web series.
Starting out as an editor for a production company, giving Rupert an understanding of post production and workflow. After a year as an editor Rupert took a job as a lighting technician on a broadcast television show before moving into cameras and finally ending up as a director of photography. Through this journey of the film and television industry Rupert has gained a knowledgeable understand of the process and practices.
