Type of project: TV content
Category: Drones Pilot
Description: We were commissioned to take aerial shots for the TV Channel NRK1, Norwegian’s equivalent of the BBC. The filming took place in Derbyshire for NRK’S programme ‘Narvested tar ferie’ a spoof documentary to be shown later in the year. Aerial shots were filmed on our state of the art professional camera drone flown by qualified pilot Chris Goulden with the camera operated by Jacky Goulden. We arrived on set to see twenty or so horses and riders and thirty odd hounds plus the Norwegian film crew. I was very conscious that the drone could spook the horses so I did a lot of flight prep beforehand and a few test flights some distance away on the day to get the horses and hounds used to the drone. When action was called everything went brilliantly, the hunts people and the film crew were highly delighted with the spectacular results from the drone, as were we. This is a high profile job for us and I’m really pleased we have done it.
