What are the advantages and disadvantages of a houseboat? And what happens if you have an iron houseboat? With the water-rich Weerribben-Wieden National Park in the province of Overijssel in The Netherlands as a setting for the series, each episode reveals an intimate glimpse into the lives of these water inhabitants. Do people on the water consciously separate themselves from the common forms of housing? Or is it a close-knit community? And what is the appeal of the water?
