Alonso Hernández Quezada

About me

Hi, my name is Alonso Hernandez Quezada. I am a Mexican cinematographer based on Spain.
I have a strong educative foundation, since university on my country, until film school and several other courses I’ve attended here in Spain.
This has been a major influence on my professional life, setting the base of my growth as a cinematographer and also the confidence on how to be part of a film set, while I was taking part in all kind of "shootings", gaining more and more experience.
Nowadays with over 15 years of work in all kind of productions, after have worked in every position in the cinematography department, specially close to the work and treatment of light, have given me a good solid base to work with any kind of teams and projects as a director of photography.
All this time and experience have led me to consider myself today as a dedicated, passionate and hard-worker professional; with "tons" of energy and a true believer of the team work.
I just simply can´t find anything more enjoyable than being able to be on a film set doing my job.
