Cristian Parras

About me

Cristian Parras, Filmmaker, was born in Barcelona (1977) and was inspired at a very young age by Mike Oldfield Tubular Bells era. Cristian composed his first music piece at age 10 years, when he was studying at Primary School. Since then the music composition has been the professional path that him want to follow.
From 1992 until 2009 he played the guitar and bass guitar for various bands ranging from rock, metal and progressive bands like Black Jack, Nayadeh, Cramm, The Moonspinners and with the last band being Lordsphere “Aura of Prison (2008)"
Cristian stopped playing in rock bands in 2009 to devote himself entirely to composition for films, commercials and animation projects.
In 2010 started the film stage when he composed and produced his first short film called “Razones para cambiar” (2011). After that other projects has come like for example “The Passenger” (2014), “V de Vampiro” (2014), "From the Other Side" (2016) and "Through the Mirror" (2017).

Influenced by the production film business Cristian has written a script and music for a film project called “Mindwarp” (2018) and joining in several film projects more as a composer as "Dragon Boy".
