Jerzy Gudjonsson

About me

Jerzy is a passionate filmmaker and work as a lighting cameraman and as a DoP since 2013. He strives for the best look on every project, whatever equipment is being used. With a strong technical knowledge and a keen eye for detail, he gets the vision from the script to the screen.

He has been working on a freelance basis as a lighting cameraman and as a DoP. He has a good knowledge of filming, lighting, handheld, ENG and digital cinema cameras, rigs, audio recording and much more.

He studied filmmaking at the Icelandic Film School as which the last semester he specialised in cinematography and got training in multi camera productions. He's reliable, efficient, organised, honest, patient, but also equipped with a sense of humour.

He's used to pressure, dealing with clients and traveling internationally for shoots. He has his own vehicle, full and clean driving license, kit insurance and a public liability insurance. Jerzy was born in Poland, lived in Iceland most of his life and has been based in London since 2012.
