My start in the audio-visual/media industry began with completion of Sound Engineering studies at the SAE in Amsterdam, while still working as an accountant for a large multinational corporation, which lead to my start as a freelance sound technician. After completing studies in Digital postproduction for film at The International Film School, San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba I began working on a permanent basis as a video editor for Africa Interactive. From my initial position as editor I moved up to chief editor, responsible for mentoring and overseeing work of postproduction departments in Amsterdam, Kenya and Ghana, and eventually attained the position of Executive Producer, a position I fulfilled with pleasure for 4 years until November 2016. From December 2016 until October 2017 I developed and completed “Marilyn Martinez”, a short VR personal documentary.I am now currently working on my second VR documentary.
