AUDIOVISUAL Co-ordinator, Project Manager, Technician: Taking events from planning to completion. Advance communications and event planning, liason and logistics with guest presenters, charities, translators, artists, musicians, performers, local authorities, corporate and business hire clients. Responsible for providing the audio-visual organisation, set-up, operation and support for live, public, and programmed events in the galleries and hire spaces, Starr auditorium, Film and Seminar rooms, McCauley studios, East room, Turbine Hall, etc. As a hands-on technician skills include preparing, using and projecting all formats of video and film, video recording and audio mic'ing, video and audio editing, spot recording, mixing for talks, music events, interviews, conferences, live webcasts, archiving. Live subtitling, live translation system set-ups, 'silent' disco events, PA and temporary screen set-ups, set-builds, stage-setting, lighting desk operation, first-line repair and maintenance of equipment. Equipment used: A very wide range of portable and fixed equipment including digital audio/video: 4k DCP, Dolby ATMOS, Soundweb, BLU link, Dante, Analog Way/Barco/Sony systems, lighting desks, mics, mixers, PA systems. Project management, training and scheduling team of 14 Freelancers, authoring 5000 word technical facilities reports. Training: Tate Gallery digital imaging training, Infocomm EVS 212 Staging and Events Management training, Chris Croft Project Management training, DCP training, VET (Lux) training: Understanding Digital Technology in Video and Audio, Advanced Editing for Final Cut Pro X.
