About us

Hello, my name is Rui Guerra, founder of the specialized underwater filming/photography company Photoguerra - Underwater Productions, Lda.. With an experience of more then 30 years in diving, and 25 in underwater image, we can produce underwater images in any kind of environments, from opens, pools, rivers, underwater caves, under the ice, etc.
I've won several national and international awards for my underwater photography. In underwater filming as in underwater photography, my knowledge of framing, stability, light and composition are tools that I use in my everyday work.

We have specialized underwater breathing equipment, from regular scuba diving until high end rebreather, that besides a total silent and bubbles free operation, allows us to stay underwater for hours at a time.
I'm also very experienced in boat handling with more then 30 years experienced.

We also have battery powered underwater lights, that can also be used above water (with battery or running continuous from the mains).
