I consider myself an all rounder - a creative shooter, an inquisitive caster and I pride myself on my personable nature with contributors and hard work ethic. I also have a passion for the latest camera tech and sound rigs, I am often considered the impromptu office tech-support!
I shoot on most standard industry equipment (FS7, C300, PMW200-300, XF305, 5D etc) to a broadcast level. I work well shooting independently and as part of a team.
Over the last 2 years I have had my camera-work and producing used for broadcast for various channels, in prime time slots. Over this time I have developed my story-telling abilities and relish the opportunity to bring fresh perspectives on weird, wonderful and dark subjects.
I will have my work featured heavily in ITV's upcoming ‘An Hour to Catch a Killer’ in 2017.
In 2015 I had 2 self-shot and produced stories broadcast as part of ‘Don't Blame the Council’ which was transmitted on ITV at 9pm.
Drawing from my experience in Development - I have developed my editorial judgement and ability to form engaging sequences in documentary and fact-ent formats, organising large shoots as well as writing pitches and treatments as well as enhancing my editing abilities on Avid, Final Cut and Premiere Pro.
I have cast large series with whole host of colourful and interesting characters (People Like Us) to medically specific cases on a fast turnaround basis (Long Live Britain). I have filmed with a variety of contributors from all walks of life - from jack-the-lad bin men to high profile scientists and millionaires. I exercise extensive background research and emotional intelligence to bond and empathise with the people I am filming.
I have experience filming internationally in various climates and exercise professional conduct in highly politically sensitive locations.
I am hoping to continue working within mainly shooting roles and aspire to be a Producer/Director for fact-ent and ob-doc series in the next couple of years.
I have a full UK driving license (can drive vans/people carriers) can drive on international roads and I am London based.
